Following on from the way-finding system of bird feet and also the children decorating masks for their Kakariki - I also thought about the idea of a storybook as our game space is about storytelling. To have a storybook that the children are following, adds to the context of the game of translocation as well as keeping the children in the play space/ bringing them back to what the activities mean and why they are completing them. I looked into children's storybook illustrations and started thinking about what the illustration style will be for the book that fits the context as well.
