Refining activities
Define / Ideate / Refine
As a group, we decided that the course that we initially came up with, had a lot of activities crammed into the game space (Ice breaker, making a mask, stuck in the mud, sea crossing and making a home puzzle). To refine them down, would allow us to focus on certain key aspects of the translocation process more accurately so that our context is strong.We decided that the stuck in the mud game and the sea crossing game could be merged into the main climax/ big activity of the course. Parents or KCO's could be the pests in stationary positions on the field trying to catch the children/ Kakariki birds. The kids/ birds have to use a range of material shapes to create a safe path around the parents/ pests in order to safely cross the sea to get to their new home.
